We would like to welcome James Stuart-Mills and James Lang-Burns on to the Committee, (John is now feeling less out numbered!). However, we feel that we are still low in numbers when organising and running the larger events, so we encourage you to join us. If you are interested please contact any committee member and who will give you more information about what is involved. We would like to see a representative from every school year and would love to see a parent from Years 7 and 8. Chairman John Elvidge, Secretary Anne Simpson, Treasurer James Stuart-Mills assisted by Lucy Stuart-Mills, Jill Killick , Linda Pallister-Rehor, Jennifer Kouzel, James Lang-Burns and School Representative Jacqui Allinson. |

There are still plenty of tea towels available from the School office, (£5 each). They would make very good Easter presents!

Thank you to everyone who made the Christmas Fair such a wonderful success. A special ‘thank you’ to Mrs Heather Hutchinson who ran the cake stall and to all who provided for it. Thank you to Mr Booth and Dr Haywood for their donation of the dog draught excluders. We also thank all those Year 2/3 parents who put time and effort into setting up many stalls and clearing away. A special mention to Mr Spackman for being a wonderful Father Christmas and for Bertie Hickey who stood in at the last minute as an excellent elf. We have not got the final figures (due to the holidays), but have raised approximately £1100. To anyone not mentioned please accept my thanks for all your help and hard work to make the event as successful as it was. Future events are in the pipeline, but if you have any fundraising ideas please let anyone on the Association know. P.S. Tea towels are still available at £5 each from the office.

The association would like to thank the following people who have worked very hard for the Association whilst they have been on the committee. We will miss their input at the meetings, but hope to see those who have left the school at our future events. A big thank you then to H. Beese, H. Gee, J. Swiers , T. Lenighan (what are we going to do without you and your wonderful production of tickets and posters?) M. Smith and K. Coram. We are also losing our treasure’ L. Rieter who has done sterling work, especially this year with the extra events causing a great deal of extra work. Now most of you reading this will realise my next request; as you will have noticed mostly because their children have moved on to new schools, we have some gaps on our committee. We would love to see representatives from all form years. We already have most years covered except year 7 and 8 and would encourage a parent from those years to join us on the committee. The committee meetings are very informal and there is always some form of refreshment! They last about 1hr to 1½hrs sometimes a little longer if we have an important issue to discuss. J. Elvidge would love to see another man on the committee (I think he is feeling a little outnumbered). Please speak to any of the committee members if you are interested or ring A. Simpson for more details.
